HONOLULU (KHON2) - Breezy northwesterly wind will continue Monday, then become northerly and showery starting Tuesday.
The winds will shift more northeasterly as a strong high builds far to the north of the state. A somewhat wet and unstable trade wind pattern will return by the middle to the end of this week. Rain bands will continue to move through the islands through Thursday.
North and west facing shores will continue to see elevated advisory level surf.
