Weather Blog

Partly to mostly sunny skies are in the forecast Thursday as well as light and variable winds sticking with us.

Kauai County is seeing extra cloud cover due to Hurricane Walaka passing northeast of the state. Oahu may also see extra cloud cover as well.

Kauai and Oahu will also see the bulk of the lighter winds meanwhile, Maui County and Hawaii Island have a decent easterly flow coming through.

Surf will be large Thursday for south and west facing shores resulting in a high surf advisory posted for both.

Due to Walaka, south shores of Oahu will see 6 to 10-foot waves and west facing shores will see 8 to 12-foot waves.

The light and variable winds continue to stick with us through late Saturday.
