Tropical Storm Barbara to weaken while crossing into Central Pacific Saturday

HONOLULU – (KHON2) The end is near for Tropical Storm Barbara.

Strong wind shear and cooler waters are weakening the system in the East Pacific. What is left of Barbara will cross into the Central Pacific.

Barbara is expected to dissipate in less than 48 hours.

Storm remnants could bring heavy rain to the islands on Monday and Tuesday.
