HONOLULU (KHON2) — Windy trade wind weather has triggered wind advisories for Maui County and Hawaii Island. Trade winds speeds could approach 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph.
No heavy rain is expected through Thanksgiving, however a storm front is expected to boost showers briefly on Thanksgiving Thursday. Otherwise the islands will see ample sunshine and light windward showers.
