Trade winds to ease off Friday

Weather Blog

Trade winds will be easing off Friday as it is replaced with light and variables.

This is all due to an approaching cold front from the northwest.

Winds will come out from the southeast on Friday, creating warmer conditions.

In terms of rain, we will see light showers tomorrow, however starting Saturday, we can expect showers to increase.

Heavy showers are possible starting Saturday evening, but there is also a chance of thunderstorms for Sunday and Monday.

Because a new high pressure system will make its way north of the islands by Tuesday, we will see the trade winds return then and last into the latter portion of the week.

At this point, we are expecting typical trade wind weather.

The Hawaiian Moon Phase for tonight is known as “ʻOle Kū Kahi.”

This is a poor night to go fishing, and for you farmers, an unproductive night to plant.

However, it is a good night to prepare for future nights.
