HONOLULU (KHON2) — After getting battered with heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds from a Kona Low earlier this week, the threat of heavy rain is gone by early Wednesday.

Trade winds are rebuilding over the islands and will remain this weekend. For the Honolulu Marathon Sunday, mostly dry conditions are expected with breezy trade winds.
