Scattered showers continue with gusty conditions Wednesday

Weather Blog

Increase in passing showers and strong winds will continue Wednesday.

The high pressure system to the north of the state continues to push further to the east and is weakening slightly. As that system lightens up, the winds will also weaken.

The northeasterly flow is expected to come in around 25 miles per hour Wednesday. Wind advisories have been dropped across the state. The strong trade winds will continue through the rest of the work week.

Trade winds will weaken ahead of a cold front starting on Sunday.

Passing scattered showers are still expected Wednesday.
