One last humid day as Hector leaves the state

Weather Blog

A deep tropical moisture plume is still over the state as Hurricane Hector moves westward away from us.

Higher humidity levels will continue through much of today and some light showers can still be expected today mainly over windward and mauka areas.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms for the Kona slopes and interior Big Island areas this afternoon, but more stable conditions are expected over the weekend.
