Improved conditions have arrived across the state in time for a happy Halloween.
A surface trough is still lingering around the state but it continues to weaken.
The heaviest of the showers remain to the south of the state. The system that caused the heavy rainfall on Tuesday is lifting to the north of the islands.
There is potential for increase of clouds and showers later in the day.

Today, showers will continue for both windward and leeward sides. The increased chance of rain is likely in the afternoon hours.
Large surf is also expected today. A high surf advisory is in effect for north and west facing shores.
