HONOLULU (KHON2) – A surface trough east of the Big Island will be causing the trades to weaken through Sunday.

Further interruption in the trades is likely Monday night through Wednesday as the trough moves through the islands from east to west.

The weakness of the trades will lead to a daytime sea breeze, bringing a few more clouds and showers the interior and lee areas in the afternoons.
