HONOLULU (KHON2) — Moderate winds will veer southeasterly tonight through Friday as a cold front approaches and stalls northwest of Hawaii. A convergence band ahead of the front will bring numerous showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms over Kauai, with a lesser extent Oahu through late Thursday. Breezy trade winds will return over the weekend as high pressure builds to the north.
