HONOLULU (KHON2) – Moderate to breezy trade winds will be the norm this week as a pair of high pressure cells pass north of the state.

A mid level ridge will maintain stable conditions through Tuesday, and limited rainfall will be relegated to windward areas and over leeward Big Island slopes each afternoon.

Leeward areas of the smaller islands will remain mostly dry.

An uptick in showers is expected Wednesday and Thursday.
