The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Hawaii State Chapter is raising awareness of mental illness. To help provide free mental illness support services in Hawaii, the nonprofit organization will hold its largest annual event. Lyndie Irons, of Andy Irons Foundation and NAMIWalks Hawaii honorary chair, joined us this morning with details.
NAMIWalks Hawaii will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, at the Honolulu Hale Civic Grounds.
Registration is free! You can register or donate at www.namiwalks.org/Hawaii or on-site at the walk; everyone who raises $100 or more will receive a NAMIWalks Hawaii T-shirt.
