HONOLULU (KHON2) — The two newest national security cutters are in Honolulu.
They are fast acting vessels that can execute the most challenging national security missions beyond the U.S. Coast Guard’s traditional search and rescue work, such as homeland security and defense.
Captain Alan McCabe, Commanding Officer of the U.S Coast Guard cutter Midgett, joined us this morning to talk about it.
