Fewer stalls will be available this weekend at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport due to two construction projects taking place. Approximately 600 stalls will be unavailable.
Also, another construction project at the Kahului airport on Maui will also be restricting parking stalls.
Airport officials are urging travelers to get to the airports early, and if possible, get dropped off rather than parking.
Here are the total number of parking stalls that will be available at the airports statewide:
- Honolulu: 4,500
- Kahului: 1,200
- Lihue: 575
- Hilo, 475
- Kona: 1,475
