HONOLULU (KHON2) — Some big changes could be coming to how we dispose of our waste.

A bill in the Honolulu City Council will add more options to the green bins that we have for yard clippings.

This includes manufactured compostable materials.

City Councilmember Matt Weyer popped by KHON2 to talk story is one of the authors of the bill.
