Wailua St. closed in Hawaiʻi Kai for vehicle accident

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The City and County of Honolulu said that Wailua Street in Hawai’i Kai was closed on Thursday night due to a motor vehicle accident.

As police responded to the incident, Wailua Street was closed between Hawaiʻi Kai Drive and Lunalilo Home Road.

Drivers were asked to use alternate routes during the closure.

The road has since been reopened.
