HONOLULU (KHON2) — A portion of Nimitz Highway was reopened by Alakawa Street after a multi-vehicle traffic accident.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. Monday, April 11.
Witnesses said a vehicle going west on Nimitz Highway crossed over into the east bound lane and collided with another vehicle. A third vehicle was behind the vehicle that got hit.
Police said EMS crews have responded.
Traffic was being rerouted to Alakawa eastbound.
