Alapai St. reopened after investigation in Honolulu


HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police have reopened Alapai Street between King and Beretania streets on Wednesday, May 26, after an investigation.

The road closure was reported around 2:20 p.m. and police had reopened Alapai Street by 4:04 p.m.

The Honolulu Department of Transportation says the Alapai Transit Center was temporarily closed before reopening.

The Transit Center will resume normal bus services, officials said.
