HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Board of Water Supply completed repairs to a broken valve on a 12-inch main on Farrington Highway.

A single lane on the bridge west of Kili Drive was closed while crews began work on Monday, Dec. 5.

By 5 a.m. the following day, repairs were finished and the road has since been open.

A water wagon was located at the Mākaha Shores Condominium for those that were impacted by the repairs, said BWS. There was also a roving water wagon on standby.

Motorists were advised to drive with caution during the time of the repairs.
