HONOLULU (KHON2) — Weakening cold fronts to the north of the islands are expected to increase shower activity starting late Thursday. Initially the showers may become numerous at times but are not expected to be heavy. However, next week a more potent low may approach the state and showers may increase in intensity. Drier conditions return by next week Thursday, with a mix of sunshine and passing showers through this weekend.
