HONOLULU (KHON2) — The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a flood advisory for Hawaii County until 600 PM.
At 301 PM radar indicated heavy rain near Hilo.
Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.
Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to: Hilo, Paauilo, Kukuihaele, Pepeekeo, Keaau, Honokaa, Orchidland Estates, Hawaiian Paradise Park, Kawa Flats, Pahoa, Hawaiian Acres and Pohakuloa Camp.
