Sometimes people who cheat on sleep by staying up late during the week, think they can catch up on sleep on weekends.

This is a sleep myth that simply doesn’t work. Although one long night of sleep may help you feel refreshed for a short while, the benefits of that additional sleep generally last only 6 hours or less after waking.

Instead, try adding an extra hour of sleep every night for a week or longer. Focus on sleep every night until you naturally wake up in the morning without an alarm clock. Investing in sleep is an investment in good health.
