Rainbow Warriors under the spotlight at MWC Media Summit in Las Vegas

Kickoff to University of Hawaii football is just around the corner and in anticipation of the season getting underway UH headed for Las Vegas Nevada to take part in the annual Mountain West Conference Media Summit.

Head coach Nick Rolovich, wide receiver John Ursua and defensive lineman Zeno Choi represented the Rainbow Warriors at the two day event which featured all football playing members of the MWC.

On Tuesday the preseason media poll and all-conference team was announced with Hawaii predicted to finish fifth in the six team west division.

Senior linebacker Jahlani Tavai was the only UH player selected to the preseason all-conference team.

On Tuesday the ‘Bows also revealed the team’s new uniforms for the 2018 season which pays homage to the uniforms worn in the highly succesful era of Warrior football from 2000-2007.

Wednesday was Hawaii’s chance to stand under the spotlight as one of the participating program’s for radio, tv, and panel discussion interviews from media members from across the country.

Last season it was Elvis and this year Rolovich brought a Britney Spears impersonator as his “plus-one” for the event.
