Pearl City’s Ray Cooper III has added steam to the hype train.

The 25 year old needed just 18 seconds to defeat Pavlo Kusch in the main event of PFL 6, held in Atlantic City on Thursday night.

Braddah Boy improved to 15-and-4 in his career with his 10th knockout. Prior to the fight he predicted an opening round knockout on the NBC Sports Network broadcast.

The victory marks as Cooper’s second consecutive victory and fourth in his last five fights.

Just six weeks ago he defeated former Strikeforce champion Jake Shields via second round knockout in the opening round of the PFL Tournament.

Cooper now advances to the million dollar welterweight championship tournament bracket as the top overall-seed.

The welterweight tournament continues on October 20th. It is unknown at this time who Cooper will face.
