The University of Hawaii softball team wrapped up the Hawaii Paradise Classic with two wins on Saturday night.
The Wahine first played Saint Mary’s and true freshman Izzy Dino had quite the night in her second ever college pitching appearance A six inning no-hitter. The 6’2 Dino had five strikeouts, two walks, and no runs allowed.
Sissy Pantastico and Mikeala Gandia-Mak each had two RBI. UH won by a 8-0 final score.
In the next game the ‘Bows got a late two-run home run from Callee Heen and beat Fresno State 7-6.
Hawaii is now 4-1 after it’s opening weekend. They head to Las Vegas for the UNLV Tournament next week.
