Two weeks after succesfully defending her Bellator flyweight championship for a third time, Honolulu’s Ilima-Lei Macfarlane is headed back to Hawaii this week.
Macfarlane, will co-host a free of charge self-defense seminar and meet-and-greet with UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie at the Neal Blaisdell Center from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
On April 27, Macfarlane defeated Veta Arteaga at Bellator 220 in San Jose, Californaia via TKO due to a doctor’s stoppage in the third round.
The victory improved Macfarlane’s career record to 10-0.
Many believe that Macfarlane’s next title defense would take place in Hawaii, as she headlined a wildly succesful debut event for Bellator in Honolulu this past December by defending her title for a second time, defeating Valarie Létourneau by third round submission.
