Poki’i Adkins-Kupuka’a – 2017 Wedemeyer Award Winner

Campbell receiver and defensive back Poki’i Adkins-Kupuka’a won the Wedemeyer Award in 2017 and Saint Louis linebacker Jordan Botelho is the reigning Te’o Award winner.

In the history of Cover2, only two players have ever won multiple Cover2 Awards.

Tua Tagovailoa – 2016 Mariota Award Winner

The first was former Saint Louis quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The Alabama junior and reigning Hesiman Trophy runner-up won the Kaulukukui Award as a junior before winning the Mariota Award in 2016.

Last season, fellow former Crusader Fa’atui Tuitele completed the feat, having followed up his Kreutz Award winning junior season by earning the Mariota Award before the defensive lineman signed to play collegiately at the University of Washington.
