Chow Mein Salad

 1 package chow mein

1 head romaine lettuce, chopped

1 cup leftover teriyaki beef

1 cup daikon kim chee

Special Dressing:

3 tablespoons Aloha Shoyu

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon citrus honey

1 teaspoon kim chee juice

Black pepper to taste

Place chow mein (cold) in a mixing bowl.  Add chopped romaine lettuce.  Toss well then place on a serving platter.  Place teriyaki beef on chow mein/romaine mixture.  Garnish with daikon kim chee and drizzle with special dressing.

Orange Chicken and Edamame Cake Noodle

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 packages yakisoba noodles

½ yellow onion, sliced

½ cup edamame

2 cups leftover orange chicken

2 tablespoons special dressing

Place yakisoba noodles in a colander and rinse under hot water.  Shake to dry.  In a skillet, fry noodles over medium high heat until crispy.  Cut noodles into quarters and place on a serving dish.  In the skillet, saute onions until translucent.  Add orange chicken and edamame.  Add special dressing and mix well.  Pour mixture over noodles and serve.

Smoked Meat

1 pound smoked meat, sliced

½ yellow onion, sliced

1 tablespoon whiskey

½ tablespoon brown sugar

1 ½ cup cabbage, thinly sliced (reserve 1 cup)

In a skillet, stir fry smoked meat and onions over medium high heat.  Add ½ cup cabbage, whiskey and brown sugar.  Mix well.  Spread 1 cup cabbage on a platter, pour smoked meat mixture over cabbage and serve.
