THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) Los Angeles Rams outside linebacker Dominique Easley underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee Monday.
Rams coach Sean McVay expects Easley to be placed on injured reserve.
This is the fourth major knee surgery for Easley since 2011. Easley sustained his latest knee injury in the Rams’ 35-23 win over the Chargers in Week 3 and did not play against Minnesota last Thursday. He had four tackles in three games this season after moving from defensive tackle to outside linebacker during training camp.
Easley tore his right ACL for the second time in training camp last year, forcing him to miss the entire 2017 season.
Easley tore the ACL in his left knee as a sophomore at Florida season, and sustained a torn ACL and meniscus in his right knee as a senior in 2013. He was still drafted 29th overall by New England in 2014.
Easley has 6 1/2 sacks, two forced fumbles and one interception in 41 career games.
