An award-winning chef will offer a taste of what’s to come when he opens two new restaurants in Hawaii.
James-Beard-Award winner and Michelin-starred chef Michael Mina is hitting the road for a two-day food truck tour to pique Oahu taste buds prior to the opening of Stripsteak and The Street at International Market Place.
Stripsteak will be a “pursuit of real purity and great, great products, sourcing great products and handling them with high-level cooking techniques, and putting culinary flair on them,” Mina said. “The products that we have to work with here are really second to none — not just what you have here on the island, but what you can source here.”
Mina describes The Street as a collaboration of several small restaurants under one roof: “It’s a different style of dining. It’s more of what you’d find at a very well curated street fair.”
