A 35-year old Lihue woman is in critical condition after a car crash Friday night.
It happened on Nawiliwili Road near Kaumualii Highway at about 7:00 p.m.
Kauai police say the woman was attempting to make a right turn onto Kaumualii Highway when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed both eastbound lanes of the highway and hit a van.
She was taken to Wilcox Hospital and later transferred to Queen’s Hospital in critical condition.
