CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department want to thank the public for their assistance in locating Vien Van Nguyen, who suffers from dementia and other medical conditions.
The 73-year-old was located at the Waipahu Transit Center around 7 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2016 and is safe.
At approximately 1:20 p.m. Monday, Nguyen walked away from his care home in Salt Lake and did not return. He is a ward of the state and social workers were concerned for his safety and well-being.
This was not the first time Nguyen has gone missing. He walked away from his hospital room on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 and was found on Sunday, May 29.
