University of Hawai’i football coach Nick Rolovich is no stranger to throwing it around in Manoa.
The former 2001 All-WAC quarterback threw out the first pitch at Friday night’s Rainbow Warrior baseball game, and debuted a hair cut ala Rick Vaughn in the movie Major League.
Rolo fired a strike which registered at 62 miles-per-hour on the Spectrum Sports radar gun. Rolovich told Spectrum Sports color commentator Pal Eldredge that he would work on fundraising because the gun was obviously broken.
Rolovich and the Rainbow Warriors will host their spring game Saturday at Clarence T.C. Ching field in Manoa.
