UH football program holds ‘spring fling’

The UH Rainbow Warrior football team will conclude its 15-session spring practices Friday with the “Warrior Football Spring Fling” at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with the practice/controlled scrimmage beginning at approximately 6 p.m.

Admission is free with an autograph session to follow the scrimmage.

The event will include several food truck and refreshment booths and keiki games including balloons, face painting, tattooing, a photo booth and football toss.

Fans will be able to meet the team as players and coaches will be available for autographs and photos on the field. Fans are encouraged to bring their own cameras and items to sign or may purchase merchandise at the H-Zone tent.

The first 100 UHM students will receive a free T-shirt, hot dog and drink provided by the Na Koa Football Club.

The main entrance to the Ching Athletics Complex will be near the Ewa end zone and fans may sit on the mauka bleachers. Lower campus parking is $6.
