It’s setting up to be a cloudier day on Thursday as high pressure builds to the north of the state which will lead to the return of trade winds.
A trough will be moving over the state Friday which will bring cooler temperatures and potential locally heavy rainfall. The bulk of the rainfall will mainly be confined to the windward sides of each island. Showers will spread to leeward sections as well.
The threat of thunderstorms enters the forecast as early as this evening.
