Trade winds set to decrease Friday, with showers expected for the upcoming weekend

Wind speeds will weaken and veer towards the southeasterly direction starting tomorrow.

Shower activity will increase this weekend across the state with locally heavy showers and thunderstorms possible on Sunday and Monday.

Trade winds return on Tuesday with more stable weather conditions as a high pressure ridge builds back in north of the state.
