Enjoy the last day of trade winds! Our trade wind weather will give way to convective weather tomorrow through the rest of the week, with daytime sea breezes and nighttime land breezes expected.
Winds will weaken and veer southeast late today, then stay southeast for the remainder of the week as low pressure develops west of the main Hawaiian Islands.
Expect warm, humid weather through the week. Forecast models show the trades returning at the start of next week.
Hurricane Walaka is not a threat to Hawaii, and is expected to pass far to the west of the state on Wednesday.
