Tagovailoa to play in Under Armour All-American game

Tua Tagovailoa’s resume added another bullet point Tuesday, this one emboldened with the honor of All-American.

After being named Elite-11 most valuable player at Nike’s “The Opening” 9 days ago and earning an invitation to the Under Armour All-American game, the Saint Louis senior-to-be quarterback accepted an invitation to play in the prestigious event in 2017.

Tagovailoa, the reigning Cover2 Tommy Kaulukukui offensive player of the year, joins former Hawai’i high school all-stars Manti Te’o, Kennedy Tulimasealii, Fred Ulu-Perry, Breiden Fehoko, Canton Kaumatule, and Michael Eletise among others to participate in the game.

The Under Armour All-American game is scheduled for January 1, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. The game will air live on ESPN.
