A man accused of leading police on a chase across Oahu last week has pleaded not guilty.
Bryson Bagio entered his plea Thursday from Oahu Community Correctional Center on charges of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and accidents involving bodily injury.
Police followed the 24-year-old as he allegedly drove a stolen truck on Wednesday, June 8.
The chase began near Turtle Bay, continued through Kunia, Leeward Oahu, and Kaneohe before ending in Kailua.
Along the way, police say the truck hit a car driven by an elderly woman near Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
His trial is scheduled for August.
Honolulu police were also looking into whether Bagio is linked to the theft of construction equipment that occurred earlier Wednesday morning in Kapolei.
At this point, there is no word of additional arrests or charges involved with that investigation.
