A woman accused of stabbing another woman in Pearl City has pleaded not guilty.
Waydene Davis, 38, also known as Waydene Kaohi, was charged with second-degree attempted murder for an incident that occurred on Friday, Nov. 30.
It happened at a home on Kuokoa Street at around 9:30 p.m.
According to court documents, a witness saw Davis walk past her room holding what appeared to be a hunting knife. She heard the victim call for help, saw her with cuts on her back and legs, and blood on the ground, and called police.
Emergency Medical Services rushed a 25-year-old woman to the hospital in critical condition with multiple stab wounds.
Davis remains in custody, unable to post $250,000 bail.
Her trial was scheduled for February.
