Sun and blue skies return in time for the weekend

Persistent high pressure northwest of the main Hawaiian Islands will drive strong and gusty trade winds across local waters through Sunday.

Stable and dry conditions will keep showers confined to windward slopes of most islands.

Trades will weaken early next week and will likely be disrupted Wednesday through Friday.

Small Craft Advisory until 6 AM HST Monday for all Hawaiian waters.
