Shirokiya holds job fair this weekend for Japan Village Walk

Shirokiya is hiring for its new Japan Village Walk store.

The 55,241 square-foot location opens in June in Ala Moana Center’s Ewa Wing Expansion.

A job fair will be held Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23, 10-11 a.m. and 3-4 p.m. at Vintage Cave Honolulu.

The positions fall under two different employers: Shirokiya Holdings or participating tenants, and Vintage Cave Honolulu.

Shirokiya Japan Village Walk and food tenants are looking for: cashiers, bar servers, kitchen help, food kiosk managers, department supervisors, sales associates (Japanese and English bilingual a plus), purchasers (Japanese and English bilingual a plus), accounting and inventory control.

Vintage Cave Honolulu and sister restaurants are looking for: Kitchen manager, kitchen staff, kitchen help, dish washer, wait help, bartender, barista, floor manager, and receptionist.

For both, registration is not necessary, though a resume is. Compensation will be based on experience and job position.

Interested applicants should go to the entrance, located at Ala Moana Center’s ground level parking and look for the “Shirokiya Job Fair” signs.
