Police seek suspect in early-morning robbery below airport viaduct

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for robbery in the second degree.

On Tuesday, Sept. 25, at approximately 5:30 a.m., the victim was walking on Peltier Avenue and Nimitz Highway when a male approached the victim and forcefully took her wallet from her purse.

Police say he ran away, but returned and tried to take the victim’s purse. The victim was able to scream for help which caused the male to run away again.
