Police seek suspect in American Savings Bank robbery in Waipahu

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect who robbed an American Savings Bank branch in Waipahu.

It happened on Thursday, April 26, at around 12:35 p.m., at 94-060 Farrington Highway.

Police said the man entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The note also stated that he had a gun.

He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled.

The suspect is described to be in his 30s, 5’2” to 5’4” and between 130 to 140 pounds.

He has a medium build, dark complexion, and was wearing a long white-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and a black-and-white bandana over his head.
