Police seek men for questioning in Kalihi double homicide


CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating four men.

They are wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred on Feb. 22 in Kalihi.

At around 5:30 a.m., Culber Rosokow, 29, and Asano Samachy, 33, were driving on Sand Island Access Road.

Police say they were being chased by three other vehicles.

Police say when their vehicle turned onto Auiki Street, one of the other vehicles pulled alongside it, fired several shots and killed both men.

CrimeStoppers and HPD believe up to 10 men may have been involved in this incident. Several of the men wore black bandanas.

Anyone with any information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or text “CS808” plus your message to 274637 or CRIMES.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.

Police also released the following surveillance photos of three white vehicles: (From left) a two-door Chrysler Sebring convertible with black top, possibly 2006 model; four-door Nissan Sentra, possibly 2006 model; and a four-door Chrysler Sebring, possibly 2007 model.
