CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in finding a robbery suspect who walks with a distinct waddle.

The suspect robbed the Bank of Hawaii branch in Kaimuki, 3600 Waialae Avenue, on Friday, Dec. 9, at 11:39 a.m.

Police say the man approached the teller, handed a demand note for money, and stated that he had a weapon. He fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described to be 40 to 50 years old and 5 feet to 5 feet 4 inches tall with a stocky build. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black beanie, and again, he walks with a waddle.

Police have not said whether they believe this is the same suspect who robbed the First Hawaiian Bank branch on Kapiolani Boulevard on Friday, Dec. 2. That suspect also reportedly walked with a waddle.
