In cooperation with the Honolulu Police Department, the Maui Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Paula Kahue-Miranda, 18, of Wailuku.
On Thursday, May 7, at about 10:30 a.m., Kahue-Miranda left the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility in Kailua on Oahu on an approved day pass.
She failed to return back to the facility by 5:30 p.m. that same day, violating the terms and conditions of the day pass.
Kahue-Miranda is believed to have traveled back to Maui and is known to frequent the Wailuku area.
She is 5-foot-4, 125 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
