Nurses needed to staff Stop Flu at School vaccination clinics

Flu season is here and nurses are needed to help Stop Flu at School.

ALTRES Medical is seeking more than 300 registered nurses (RNs), nursing assistants (NAs) and medical assistants (MAs) to assist with registration and administer flu shots to Hawaii public and private school students.

“These clinics are a wonderful opportunity for nurses of all levels of experience to serve their local communities. We’re seeking nurses on all islands, but our biggest need is for nurses on the Big Island,” said Jenies Thomas, manager of ALTRES Medical. “Flu season is a great time for nurses to make a little extra money in anticipation for the holidays.”

Weekday morning shifts are available. Interested candidates can email or call 808-591-4960 (or toll free at 888-868-1600).

ALTRES Medical offers competitive pay to its employees with pay rates determined by medical license category. Nurses can choose to stay in the neighborhoods they live in, work nearby, or they can request to be assigned to communities with the greatest need.
