New Mobile Mission app helps users with financial decisions

Young people living on their own for the first time can sometimes get overwhelmed with financial decisions. That’s why Hawaii’s Better Business Bureau came up with a free app to help.

It’s the Mobile Mission app. “One of Hawaii’s largest industries is the military,” said CEO Greg Dunn, “and the BBB says many service members are at risk of being taken advantage of.”

He said the beauty of the app is that because a lot of people make decisions on the go, having it on your smartphone makes it accessible all the time and can be as private as you want.

The Mobile Mission app helps users with saving money, paying down debt, improving credit, preparing for financial emergencies, planning for the future, and accessing government benefits.

The BBB is currently running a test version on Android phones. If you’d like to help test it for iPhones, you can sign up for future notifications.
